Tetradyne's acid detergents are formulated with an inorganic acid, phosphoric acid, blended with organic citric acid. To this blend we add a wetting and emulsifying agent to improve detergency and assist in the emulsification and removal of any oil layers from the metal surfaces. Most of our detergents also contain passivating agents to passivate (neutralize metal electrical charges) stainless steel surfaces during acid washes. This passivation process helps protect stainless surfaces from being prone to corrosive attack.

TETRACID 100 is a non-foaming, concentrated, phosphoric and sulfuric acid blend used as an acid wash and rinse in dairy farms.

TETRACID 150 is a low-foaming, heavy-duty concentrated and inhibited muriatic acid base cleaner, descaler, neutralizer and rust remover. TETRACID 150 is intended for use as a shock treatment for specialty applications.

TETRACID 200 is a non-foaming, concentrated, blend of phosphoric acid and citric acid developed for recirculating and bulk tank washing on dairy farms and food industry applications.

TETRACID 300 is a low foaming, powdered sulfamic acid base cleaner, de-scaler and rust remover for use by the food processing, dairy, beverage and general industry. TETRACID 300 is excellent in applications where starchy material need to be digested and removed off of surfaces. Also, in applications of removing rust, neutralizing soap residues and de-scaling of surfaces and equipment.

TETRACID - 400 is a non-foaming, blend of phosphoric and citric acids formulated with wetting agents and corrosion inhibitors for pipeline and surface cleaning application requiring no foam. TETRACID - 400 is effective in removing mineral soil buildup and neutralizing alkaline soap residues from system surfaces.

TETRACID - 450 is a non-foaming, concentrated, acid cleaner, de-scaler with wetting agents and corrosion inhibitors.  TETRACID - 450 is a balanced blend of phosphoric and sulfuric acids developed for all types of pipeline circulating applications in the dairy industry.

TETRACID - 500 is a non-foaming, blended acid cleaner, de-scaler containing phosphoric, nitric and sulfuric acids.  TETRACID - 500 is formulated for use in all types of pipeline and spray cleaning applications in the dairy, food and beverage industries.

TETRACID - 600 is a moderate foaming, concentrated, moderate foaming, phosphoric acid base de-scaler and neutralizer containing wetting agents to emulsify and remove any residual oil build-up on surfaces.  TETRACID - 600 has been developed for all types of spray, soak, and manual applications in the food processing, dairy, and general industries.

TETRACID - 650 is a low foaming, concentrated low foaming circulating and spray acid blend developed for challenging applications in the food processing, dairy, beverage and general industry. TETRACID - 650 contains a balanced blend of phosphoric and citric acids and wetting agents developed for removal of soap buildup, de-scaling and rust removal of surfaces.

TETRACID - 700 is a high foaming, economical, phosphoric acid cleaner and brightener recommended for foaming applications on equipment, floors and walls.

TETRACID - 750 is a high foaming, concentrated, phosphoric acid cleaner and brightener recommended for foaming applications on equipment, floors and walls.

TETRACID - 800 is a non-foaming, recirculating and spray.  TETRACID – 800 is an acid detergent containing phosphoric acid and a high concentration of citric acid. 

TETRACID PLUS is a non-foaming, ultra high, non-foaming, acid concentrate containing phosphoric, sulfuric, and nitric acids. 

ACID GUARD is a moderate foaming, acid containing a blend of citric and phosphoric acids.
